"Care of the dependent elderly is a topic of considerable public concern in view of recent social changes and it is important to know and analyse the viewpoint of nurses. This article discusses the repercussions that nursing attitudes and behaviour may have on the elderly and their caregivers and considers the changes that should be introduced to adapt to new circumstances and provide better care."

The author is a very good expert on this field and the publications are interested.
It is always important to stress that care providing right now with regards old people is getting complicated because of the number of old people right now in Spain. It is said that 18% of the Spanish population is older than 65 years old.
This is a new scenario that requires the new attitudes and training.
