The article makes a review on the positive and negative aspects that the law for the attention a people with dependency and to enhance the personal autonomy has brought to Spain a country with 17 regions with competences in the area of Social Services.
The caring System changes on that law and the carers and the hole assitance system has to be adapted to this new reality.
Reviewer's comments on the document:
This review makes reveals the strengths and weaknesess that the system displays. It is very interesting to observe the differences between Autonomous Communities but also to stress that among all those differences what prevails right now is a homogeneous systems of social services that provides attention for dependent people.
The system is working properly eventhoug there are some differences in aplication with regards to the Autonomous Communities.
