This article highlights the idea of a strong relationship between patient and doctor in order to prevent some problems that can appear because of the lack of information.
The essential term in a doctor - patient relationship must be "trust", this relationship should rely on trust because the doctor is the person that communicates you critical issues in your life.
If you've asked a question and he tells you he doesn`t know the answer, it does not mean that he is not a trained doctor. If he answers you on the next appointment it is better for you. This proves that he is a good doctor that makes researches and does not give you a diagnosis based on memories and assumptions.
Article proposes the idea of consulting a new doctor, because it is your right to do that. If your doctor feels harmed because of this, it is not a good sign. Decisions must be taken by you, he should not impose anything to you, the doctor must provide you also an alternative treatment. You can also do researches on the internet about your symptoms so you can have a discussion with your doctor.
Health is one of the most important things you have in life and therefore you must choose very carefully the doctor in whose hands you entrust your life.

Patients also have rights in front of the doctor and it is important to take this into account. The doctor should not impose his treatment, but present alternatives and several solutions.
