Vocational preparation of mentally affected students demands team approach of specialists and needs to be connected with real working life and integration of the students into the working life. The widespread format of integration of the students are protected workshops in which the students live in a segregated community. The challenge is to integrate these students to working life of majority people without segregation. This approach is demanding for change of the culture both in a majority population and also on the part of students that they have enough self-confidence and self-esteem. It is demanding also for the employers and the peers so that they are able to accept the co-worker on the partners' level.
