The beneficiaries of this project are housed in foster care and receive moral and financial support and guidance; they are cared for and monitored by qualified staff and receive three meals daily.

Contribution:

As an organization that has as beneficiaries persons who are terminally ill / recovering or with incurable diseases, it is necessary that narrative medicine principles to be implemented and respected in care. Therefore, in course of the HEPPY project was attended by most employees just to reinforce those behaviors supported by narrative medicine such as knowledge and understanding of personal story, personality, attitudes and cultural interests of each beneficiary , and how they are affected by the pathology of the disease. Thus, one way to disseminate the principles of narrative medicine in our field of activity is through the caring provided for terminally ill persons / recovery or terminal illness in the Hospice Care Center Little Relief and witnesses and messengers of these principles are even the beneficiaries and families thereof. Also, these principles are upheld and applied in the collaborations we have with other institutions.
