Text:
We often take many things, too many things, for granted. We forget that our ground of work is represented by people, not only as bodies and organs, but also with their own story. Sometimes we are surprised, we get angry for the answer given by one of our patients or for a sentence, but we do not think, or perhaps we do so little, that what we have said might have reminded the person we are relating to of something unpleasant. Learning the techniques is easy, what is difficult is to learn to listen to those who stand before us, even when they do not talk.
