More than words

I am the daughter of a patient with Locked-in syndrome. He stays in a clinic since 5 years now, but we never lose our hope he will be better one day, smiling, moving and talking again. I really miss the voice of my father and, when we first tried to use the computer, he wrote his name using the movement of his eyes, and a metallic voice said his name, I cried and then thanked because something was going to change. Now, even he cannot use this computer because of his clinical problems, something is really changed. I started recognizing every single movement of his eyes, because he talks this ways and says even more than using words.
