Self-description in the mirror

Language: English
Country: Italy
Typology: patients and relatives
A mirror full size, I’m naked and I count all the imperfections from one up to one hundred! I turn and turn round and I’m sorely disappointed for what I look. Even if I don’t’ like what I see, I keep on scanning myself. The “Self-description in the mirror” is from a study on self-representation and body-self, carried out in 2003, among young Italian students at the risk of eating disorders.
