Text:
I work as a doctor in primary care, and I attended the course of the HEPPY project. I liked much to know that European initiatives to improve health care include the notions of narrative medicine and parental education, because in my work as a doctor, I have found that on many occasions it disregards the sick in pro observe her symptoms and her illness. With the passing of the years and the experience I have realized that it is very important to pay attention to what the patient tells us that happens, instead of being so obsessed with medical evidence that seems to reason that remove the sick. I am a person who deeply believes that patients are those who most know of his illness and that cater to their personal experiences is the only way to help them to overcome or at least cope with their distress. So I think that more commitment by physicians and caregivers to attend to people, because we all deserve a careful and personal and individual assistance is necessary.
