It was one very old person that had always been treated at home. She had no major problems, but because of her age, was tired and depressed by not being able to move and have more freedom. We look after her at home since it was a family member, and also ask a professional Assistant that will help us. I remember that it was more beneficial for their health was to be at home and be serviced from there by relatives since what most missed less era have people close friends, be accompanied and to share their days with others. Then, I still knew nothing of narrative medicine, but I remember that it was the same principles: active listening, attention to non-verbal language, empathy... That was what it did to their health and thanks to the patience we had we could give you a happy life in her last days.
