I cannot describe a single case from my experience of nurse and carer because my approach to each patient is different. In our clinic there are persons of different ages hospitalized, of different social conditions and coming from different environments. I have tried and I managed to communicate with the patients verbally and non-verbally and to reach an agreement that was positive both for the patient and for me. I have tried to adapt my language to each person, keeping at the same time the professional distance. I have decided on my approach towards the patient after I gathered information about the patient from his family, colleagues, observation grids, from the own stories of the patient. I have used this information in order to build constructive conversation with the patient, in order to create good and optimist mood for him/her.
