Text:
Having big pains in the pelvic area, I decided to go to the doctor for a check and eventually an ultrasound. I made an appointment in a private clinic. The doctor did not have a very pleasant behaviour: she did not listen to the reason why I had come and she asked me on a high voice to get ready for the check. After the check and the ultrasound I asked her very politely what is the cause of the pelvic pain I had. Her answer was totally unpleasant: “it is no use to explain to you because you will not understand. You will receive treatment and you will be ok.” I cannot tell how upset I was, I told her I had studied medicine and I understand. In the end, I had to go to another doctor as her diagnosis was not correct. I don’t want to put a blame on all doctors, as many of them are very professional and know how to treat a patient that comes to the doctor with the hope he will be ok.
