Text:
That day, in my bed, my feverish body under the covers that were never enough, the thought I would not overcome it, I would not be fine again. The hours, the days at the apex of the disease and then the hope of resuming the normal rhythm of life. These are the stages of the disease. But, that day, when I was feverish and could not even take a glass of water, with overwhelming tiredness, pain spread all over my body, burning thirst, I remember the gesture of a relative of mine who came closer to me and, with a "joke” and a smile, he gave me a glass of water. This way I lived the experience of treatment.
