20 December 2013 - Fund Raising for the Healthcare System University Master

In January 2014 the University of Oriental Piedmont with the collaboration of Foundation New Hospital Alba-Bra onlus, will organize in Turin (IT) a University Master of first level in Fund Raising for the Healthcare System. 

15 November 2013 - Health within reach for everyone National Meeting

In January 2014 the association of social promotion H.story and the the working group in narrative medicine and health promotion Fuzzy project, will organize in Turin (IT) a series of meetings entitled “Health within reach for everyone, stories about cares. Laboratory of Narrative medicine and health promotion on the territory”, addressed to professional working in the healthcare sector.

5 October 2013 - Pain between body and Psyche National Conference

On 5 Octobe 2013 the Psychology Clinic and Oncology departments of Turin University and the businesswomen association F.I.D.A.P.A. bpw-Italy organised the conference “Pain between body and Psyche”. Prof. Riccardo Torta, one of the trainers involved in the Heppy training course for professional health carers, hosted the conference.

15 September 2013 - End the training course addressed to professional health carers and final virtual meeting
The partners are currently involving professional health carers in the 7th and last module of the training course (link) addressed to professional health carers. After the end of the training course, representatives of health carers involved in 6 European countries will attend a Final Virtual Meeting for the Proposal of a Shared Model of Education and Therapeutic Pact between Health Carers, Patients and Relatives (link).
24 July 2013 - Intensive Care Unit open to family visits

On 24 July 2013 the document “Intensive Care Unit open to family visits” was published by The Italian National Committee for the bioethics. 

19 June 2013 - A Narrative Future for Health Care International Conference

On 19 June 2013 Rita Charon, international expert of narrative medicine and one of the trainers involved in the Heppy training course for professional health carers, was invited to participate in the conference “A Narrative Future for Health Care”, organised in London (UK) by the King’s College of London and The Program in Narrative Medicine of the Columbia University of New York. The event aimed aimed at spreading information about the development of narrative medicine and its perspectives. 15 June 2013 - The new Biella Hospital in the context of the National and regional Health System, National Meeting

On 15 June 2013, the meeting entitled “The new Biella Hospital in the context of the National and regional Health System”, promoted by ASL Biella and by the Foundation CRT Biella, took place in Biella (IT). The meeting offered participants the opportunity to learn about the methodologies of fund raising and the role of corporate relationship in the health care sector. 

8 June 2013 - The Educational Therapeutic School, Family, Health Pact Regional Meeting

On 8 June 2013, in the Conference Room of Nursing Degree of Turin University in Turin (IT), the Regional Meeting “The Educational Therapeutic School, Family, Health Pact” was organized by SIPeM Piedmont, one of the associated partners involved in the Heppy project.

7 June 2013 - Disability and Culture national conference

On 7 June 2013, Gradenigo Hospital was invited to participate in the conference “Disability and Culture”, aimed at supporting the access to the Museum regional resources for people with disabilities and held at the Museum of Risorgimento in Turin (IT). 

1 June 2013 - Heppy Training course still going on

On 1 June 2013, the introductory workshop on the 5th module of the training course organized in the framework of the Heppy project took place in Turin (IT) at Gradenigo Hospital. 

31 May 2013 - Public Finance and Welfare National Workshops

During May 2013 the Rosselli Foundation organized in Turin (IT) a series of workshops on the topic of “Public finance and Welfare”.  

05 April 2013 - Discussion on the modules

The health carers involved in the training are currently participating in a discussion on the modules, in order to evaluate the impact of the course on their working activities. 

01 March 2013 - Virtual Meetings among Professional Health Carers

After attending the on-line modules of the Heppy training course, representatives of professional health carers from all the countries involved in the Heppy project are participating in Virtual Meetings in order to report about the impact of the course at transnational level. 

01 February 2013 - Heppy training course addressed to Professional Health Carers

During the month of February the partners will start involving professional health carers in the training course organized in the framework of the Heppy project. The training course is based on a blended learning approach, including introductory face-to-face workshops, organised in each country participating to the project, and on-line training 

31 January 2013 - Second Edition of Narrative Medicine at Settimo Torinese

On 31 January 2013, the Civic Hospital of Settimo Torinese (IT) hosted the second edition of a seminar on narrative medicine. The hospital is an associated partner of the HeppyProject. during the seminar, the objectives and results of the Heppy project were presented and discussed.

30 January 2013 - Presentation of the form "With my eyes"

On 30 January 2013 the healthcare coordinators of the Gradenigo Hospital, Turin (IT), met to present the form "With my eyes" and to identify how to use it in the clinical practice of the narrative description of families and patients. 

28 January 2013 - Seminar on Narrative Medicine

On 28 January 2013 Gradenigo Hospital, Turin (IT), hosted the first edition of a seminar on Narrative Medicine addressed to professional health carers. During the seminar the objectives and results of the Heppy project were presented to participants.

25 January 2013 - Meeting the Patient

On 25 January 2013, in Saluggia (VC), the experts group of the Heppy project met Vittorino and the healthcare equip working in the institution where the patient is hospitalized. The patient participates in the activities of the Heppy project. 

21 January 2013 - Presentation of the booklet Narrative Based Medicine, Parents Pedagogy and ICF

On 21 January 2013, in the city library of Settimo Torinese (IT) the booklet "Narrative Based Medicine, Parents Pedagogy and ICF" was presented with the participation of some of its authors.  The aim of the presentation was to create an experimental path involving high schools students who will collect narrative descriptions of the patients hospitalized in the Settimo Torinese Hospital. 

19 January 2013 - Heppy project presented at national medical fair in Turin

During the 16th edition of the national fair "Patologia immune e malattie orfane", held in Turin on 19th January 2013, the Heppy project was presented. In particular it was addressed the way in which the experts group would like to develop the identification tools of the personal factors according to ICF. The narrative description is the collecting tool identified for this purpose.

15 January 2013 - Meeting at the University of Turin

On 15 January 2013 the group SIPEM organized a meeting in the Library of the public health department of the University of Turin (IT). The Heppy project has been presented among the other subjects of discussion. 

14 January 2013 - Personal contact with chemotherapy

On 14 January 2013 the Vis Vitalis Academy, in collaboration with Gradenigo Hospital and GITR, presented a book written by Massimo Foa, with pictures taken by Titti Garelli, at Circolo dei lettori, Torino (IT). The book is a collection of poems written by Foa about his chemotherapy. During the venue Sabrina Grigolo presented the Heppy project. 

27 December 2012 - Meeting the patients

On 27 December 2012 in Settimo (TO) the partners of the Heppy project met Sergio and Marina, some of the patients participating in the project along with their parents. The touching experience was reported in the blog of Heppy project. 

3 December 2012 - Food: a love/hate relationship

On 3 december 2012, during a meeting held in Gradenigo Hospital (Turin, Italy), Ornella Mana and Daria Bongiovanni infomred the citizens about food disorders. During the meeting the Heppy project was presented and brochures of the project were distributed. The families, patients and the caregivers stories offered important suggestions to reflect on for healthcare professionals.   

23 November 2012 - Meeting with Sert ASL of Alba

During a meeting among professional health carers organized in Cuneo (IT) on 23 November 2012, the Heppy project was presented and considered as a best practice of project management in the healthcare. 

13 November 2012 - Meeting about skin disease

On the occasion of a meeting about skin diseases, organized on 13 November in Gradenigo Hospital in Turin, in which Prof. Luigi Santoro informed citizens about skin damages caused by exposition to the ultraviolet radiations, the brochure of Heppy project has been distributed to the participants.

14 November 2012 - Conference of Italian Society of Medical education

Conference of Italian Society of Medical education

On 14 November 2012 the Conference of Italian Society of Medical Education was organized at Hotel OLIMPO, in Garda (VR). The Heppy project was presented in the poster section. 

8 November 2012 - Internationalization models of the health Systems of the Italian Regions

On 8 November 2012 a Seminary day dedicated to the sharing of the internationalization models of the health systems was organized at "Centro Torino Incontra" in Turin (IT). During the seminar a brochure of the HEPPY project has been distributed to the participants. 200 participants among healthcare professionals and citizens took part to the seminar.

 

16 October 2012 - Narrative based medicine, Parents pedagogy and ICF: tools for today medicine

On 16th October Carla Bena, Marisa Falloppa, Lorenza Garrino, Silvano Gregorino, Sabrina Grigolo, Augusta Moletto e Riziero Zucchi presented the booklet "Narrative based medicine, Parents pedagogy and ICF: tools for today medicine". The event was held at the "Centro Multimediale di Documentazione Pedagogica della Città di Torino". Mariagrazia Pellerino, Assessora alle Politiche Educative, Egle Bolognesi, Dirigente Servizio Assistenza Scolastica Scuole dell'Obbligo have attended and Prof. Domenico Chiesa has been the moderator.

26 September 2012 - Conference about intestinal inflammatory chronic diseases

On 26th September the Gradenigo Hospital organised a conference about intestinal inflammatory chronic diseases for all the people who are interested in this topic. This has been made possible thanks to the collaboration with M.I.C.I. Association (Piedmont) and rheumatic patients association (Piedmont).

This event has taken place with the contribution of the HEPPY Project.

- Training course about Parental pedagogy

The Civic Hospital of Settimo T.se will be host of the fourth edition of the training course about "Parental pedagogy".

This hospital is an associated partner of the HEPPY Project.

2 October 2012 - Training course on parental pedagogy

The third edition of the training course about "Parental pedagogy" was organised on 25th  September and 2nd  October 2012 in Gradenigo Hospital.

5 July 2012 - Heppy presented in the framework of Mattone Internazionale Project

The Heppy Project collaborates with the Mattone Internazionale Project. During the module "Tools and strategies for the project management in the health field", part of a training coursefor professional health carers organized by Mattone Internazionale, Sabrina Grigolo presented the aims and the activities of the Heppy Project.

28 and 29 June 2012 - Second HEPPY meeting - Madrid

During the second meeting on the 28th and 29th June in Madrid, all the partners  agreed on  the objectives and guidelines concerning the online training course of the Heppy Project.

29 May 2012 and 5 June 2012 - Healthcare Parents Pathways and functional profile - The Methodology of Parents Pedagogy

During the second edition of the "Healthcare Parents Pathways and functional profile - The Methodology of Parents Pedagogy", held on 29th  May 2012 and 5th  June 2012 in Turin, Italy, Riziero Zucchi, Augusta Moletto, Carla Bena,Barbara Fantino and Sabrina Grigolo have been involved in the training course as experts.

19 May 2012 - Heppy Conference and Training Course

The Heppy project was presented during a Conference in Turin, Italy, on 19 May 2012. Sabrina Grigolo, Riziero Zucchi, Augusto Moletto, Lorenza Garrino and Silvano Gregorino presented the main objectives of the project. The conference was promoted by the Piemonte Region, the Turin Province and City and the Medical Trade Association from the Turin province. A training course followed, the second edition of the "Healthcare Parents Pathways and functional profile - The Methodology of Parents Pedagogy", held on 29 May 2012 and 5 June 2012 in Settimo Torinese (TR), Italy. Riziero Zucchi, Augusta Moletto, CarlaBena,Barbara Fantinoand Sabrina Grigolo will be involved in the training course as experts. 

18 May 2012 - Heppy Project presented as Best Practice at National Conference in Italy

The Heppy project was presented as a best practice of integration and continuity of care at the"Integration between Hospitals and Territory Services, and Continuity of Care as Tools of Health System Governance"Conference, held in Fossano, Italy, on 18 May 2012. Among the conference participants there are National Health Care managers, University Teachers, representatives of Medical Associations, doctors and various others hospital workers, therefore representing all of the target groups the Heppy project addresses to.

15 to 18 May 2012 - European and international politics and relations in the health field

The Heppy Project took part to the "Mattone Internazionale" Project coordinated by Veneto Region. During the first training module from 15th to 18th May 2012 about "European and international politics and relations in the health field", Sabrina Grigolo presented the aims of the Heppy Project. 3 May 2012 - Narrative Medicine, Parents Pedagogy and ICF

On 3rd May at the Gradenigo Hospital, the experts of Heppy project with Alessandro Comandone moderated by Ernesto Bodini, presented the booklet "Narrative Medicine, Parents Pedagogy and ICF: tools for today medicine". 6 March 2012 and 27 March 2012 - Heppy presented during course on The Methodology of Parents Pedagogy

8 April 2012 - Selection and description of Best Practices

Each project partner identified and described the Best Practices in the field of organising, managing and delivering health assistance in hospital and at home. This information is being uploaded on the project portal in the Database Section.

5 March 2012 - Collection of Case Studies

40 narrative descriptions of initiatives on health assistance in hospital and at home have been collected by each partner. Among these, each partner selected 5 case studies descriptions on the topic and uploaded them on the project website. This information is being uploaded on the project portal in the Database Section.

11 February 2012 - Heppy Project presented during National Meeting in Turin

Professor Zucchi presented the Heppy Project during the Meeting "Pe i più piccoli", organized  on 11th  February 2012 in Settimo T.se (Turin, Italy).

10 February 2012 - Review of National Publications

50 National Publications are currently being reviewed. The publications focus on health assistance in hospital and at home provided to patients with chronic diseases and/or disabilities. This information is being uploaded on the project portal in the Database Section.

02 January 2012 - Involvement of professional health carers

The project partners are currently involving in the Heppy project: 1 hospital, 30 professional health carers, 10 patients with their relatives for each project country. This information is being uploaded on the project's portal in the Members section. 

28 and 29 November 2011 - Heppy kick-off meeting successfully held in Turin

The Happy project kick-off meeting took place in Turin on 28th and 29th of November 2011. Sabrina Grigolo and Elisabetta Delle Donne introduced the project and exposed the activities to be carried out to the other partners. The meeting was also an opportunity for the partners to get to know each other and to discuss all details related to the project's activities. Each partner illustrated the situation concerning the medical assistance provided to patients affected by chronic pathologies, both in Hospital and at home, in his country. At the end of the meeting all the partners had a clear view of the future project's implementation.
